Road Trip Ramblings

I do not travel well. I already knew that, but today that reality was reinforced after being on the road for about twelve hours. It didn't help that there wasn't much scenery along the way, but fortunately I had my trusty journal articles close at hand and two captive colleagues to listen as I read interesting tidbits to them! Thankful for my library friends!

  1. How was your conference? How long of a drive was it? Hope you had fun :)

    1. The conference actually starts tomorrow. It's about a 16 hour drive, so we broke it up over two days. Thanks for your interest!

  2. Where was your destination? No scenery sounds like you were driving on I-16 in Georgia.

    1. Oklahoma. We were on I-40W for over 400 miles! Once you get past Memphis, TN there's not much to see until you get past Conway, Arkansas.

  3. You have my sympathy! I am not a traveler, either, and driving only three hours makes me stir crazy.
